Since July, Google had to block all users who did not switch to a paid subscription: from $5 to $18 per month for each account. However, as reported by Ministry of Digital Transformation, they managed to negotiate with Google and extend free access to services for small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine.
Ukrainian entrepreneurs will be able to use corporate mail, cloud storage, and other Google Workspace services free of charge.
“Thank you Google for regular help and support to Ukraine. Previously, the company already provided free use of Google Workspace for Ukrainian educators, 43,000 laptops for schools, and $15 million in aid to Ukraine,” commented the company’s decision Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
