This was reported by The Game Post. Citing their own sources, they claim that Bungie, together with the Chinese technology company NetEase, is working on an unannounced first-person mobile shooter. This is evidenced, in particular, by information on the Linkedin profile of one of the artists of the NetEase Games division.

Additionally, The Game Post reports that their source familiar with NetEase’s development plans confirms that this mobile shooter is part of the Destiny universe, though unrelated to the current Destiny 2, and that it has been in development for over two years.

This unofficial information is indirectly confirmed by the fact that last year Bungie was looking for employees for “a large mobile project in the Destiny universe”, as well as by the words of Bungie’s chief executive officer Pete Parsons, who at the time stated that “NetEase has a lot of experience in the mobile segment, which we don’t” and that this partnership “will generate new ideas”.

Well, we can only hope Destiny Mobile’s microtransactions are better than Diablo Immortal. Let’s remind you, it was created by Blizzard together with the NetEase.
