Samsung has announced an update to the line of gaming monitors Odyssey in 2022 – including the Neo G8 ( G85NB), which became the first model to support 4K @ 240 mode.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 is a 32-inch monitor with a curved screen (radius of curvature 1000R, or 1 m), which uses a VA-panel – Quantum Mini LED with Quantum Matrix technology. The color coverage of the panel is 95% of DCI-P3 space, 4K resolution, maximum refresh rate – 240 Hz, response time – 1 ms (GtG).

Also, the new Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro adaptive frequency technology and HDR mode – peak brightness can reach 2,000 nits.

In addition, the company announced two more models, Odyssey Neo G7 (G75NB), which has almost identical characteristics, except for the refresh rate (165 Hz), and Odyssey G4 (G40B). The latest model is available in two diagonals, 25 and 27 inches, both versions use a flat Full HD IPS panel with a refresh rate of 240 Hz and support for AMD FreeSync Premium and compatibility with NVIDIA G-SYNC.

All models are expected to be available globally in June, prices are not disclosed yet.
