Season 4 of the series True Detective promises a lot of fun to its fans. It is already known that one of the main roles in it will be played by Jodie Foster.

True Detective: Night Country from HBO will tell about the mysterious disappearance of six men who worked at the Arctic research station Tsalal. They disappeared without a trace when Ennis, Alaska, had a long winter night. Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro will try to solve this case, as well as overcome the darkness within themselves and reveal the secrets buried under the eternal ice.

Jodie Foster will play Liz Danvers. She will also be the executive producer this season. The actress is remembered for her starring role in The Silence of the Lambs, in which she played a young FBI agent, Clarissa Starling.

The anthology series True Detective has been on the screens since 2014. The final third season airs on HBO 2019. The release date of the new season has not yet been announced.
