Disney continues to develop the Star Wars universe. The company has announced the release date of the third season of the Mandalorian. It will be on Disney Plus in February 2023.
The second season was released in October 2020, so the novelty is long-awaited. Even though the characters of Mando and Grogu appeared sporadically in The Book of Boba Fett.
Executive producer Jon Favreau shared that in the new season, Mando will finally arrive on the home planet of his people Mandalore in search of forgiveness. Fans will also see familiar faces in the new season, such as Carl Weathers and Katee Sackhoff as Greef Karga and Bo-Katan Kryze.

However, before the third season of The Mandalorian a new series Andor will be released. It’s a prequel to the movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It will be available on Disney Plus on August 31, and now Disney has shown a trailer for the new story.
It is known that the series will consist of 12 episodes, and the starring role in it will be played by Diego Luna, already known for playing Cassian Andor in the Rogue One movie. The events in the series will take place 5 years before the Rogue.
Andor gives a new look at the Star Wars galaxy and focuses on Cassian Andor’s journey to find out what he can change. The series shows the rise of the uprising against the Empire, and how people and planets join it. It is an age full of danger, deception, and intrigue when Cassian sets out on the road that will make him a rebel hero.
