Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov briefly reported on his meeting with Meta President for Global Affairs Nick Clegg. One of the main topics of the meeting was the blocking of Ukrainian content, media, bloggers and official organizations due to Meta moderation policies.
“The main topic of the meeting was the issue of changing Meta’s approach to content moderation in wartime. Today it does not work in favor of Ukrainian users and media: we publish the truth about the war on Meta platforms – there are many cases of blocking true content,” said the statement of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
According to Fedorov, Meta is already implementing certain solutions to improve the moderation of Ukrainian content, and even more is expected in the near future. In addition, the Ministry of Digital Transformation hopes that the company will open a representative office in Ukraine in the near future.
