In honor of the Kalush Orchestra’s victory at the Eurovision Song Contest, Ukrposhta will issue a new stamp. This was reported by Ihor Smilyanskyi, General Director of Ukrposhta.

“Ukrposhta issues stamps according to the decision of the Art Council. But I think I will have enough arguments, as the chairman of the Council, to agree and speed up the issue of the stamp dedicated to our winners,” he wrote.

Smilyansky noted that stamps dedicated to the previous winners of Eurovision from Ukraine – Ruslana and Jamala – were also issued on an extraordinary basis.

The design of the new stamp will be approved separately, as it must be coordinated with Eurovision. The picture with the bucket hat and Azovstal on the background of the Ukrainian flag published by the CEO is an example of one of the options, not the final look of the stamp.

Now on Smilyansky’s telegram channel the voting on which stamp Ukrposhta should issue next continues. However, the Kalush Orchestra stamp will be issued out of competition.
