Disney has decided to congratulate all fans on Star Wars Day with the release of a new trailer for the series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Not much new material was shown in the video compared to the first trailer . You can hear part of the conversation between Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) and Owen Lars (Joel Edgerton) about preparing young Luke Skywalker to become a Jedi. You can also see Kumail Nanjiani, whose character is mysteriously dressed in a Jedi robe, and fragments of how Darth Vader’s body, who was played by Hayden Christensen, are literally collected.
Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place 10 years after Revenge of the Sith, the third episode of Star Wars. The series should fill in the gaps between the prequels and the original trilogy. The empire is desperately trying to track down Obi-Wan, as well as destroy the Jedi once and for all.
The premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi will take place on May 27 on the streaming platform Disney +. The series will consist of six episodes.
