The site HelpTheHelper collects stories of volunteers whom the project team knows personally. Project CEO Ivan Holiakov was an entrepreneur before the start of the full-scale war, and later initiated the creation of a platform to help acquaintances who remained in Ukraine and save people every day.

The platform directs financial aid directly to volunteers. The project team includes programmers, designers, translators, journalists, and marketers. They record interviews, collect facts about volunteering, and present them to the audience.

The main idea of HelpTheHelper is to help volunteers do their job without being distracted by financial needs. Every day, volunteers need a huge amount of funding to deliver humanitarian aid, purchase medicine for the civilian population, and ammunition for the military.
