The occupiers are sending computer viruses on behalf of the Security Service

The Security Service of Ukraine warns of new attempts by the occupiers to disrupt cybersecurity of our fellow citizens.

Using popular messengers, the enemies pretend to be Security Service officers and asked to download a file with supposed instructions for action during the war. In reality, it is a malicious program.

The main goals of the enemy are, first of all, civil servants, through whose phones, according to the occupiers, it is possible to collect confidential information. The Security Service urges Ukrainians to be attentive to any such reports.

The Security Service of Ukraine itself does not carry out any such mailings!

So:

• Do not open or download files from unknown people
• Delete such correspondence immediately
• Follow rules of safe behavior on the Internet
• Trust only official sources
