In just two weeks, the developers of Epic raised $144 million through their popular game Fortnite to help Ukraine. On the eve of last season, the company said it would donate all its proceeds from the game for two weeks with Microsoft to a humanitarian effort following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

In just one day, Fortnite raised $36 million. The final $144 million will go to several aid groups, including Direct Relief, UNICEF, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the United Nations Children’s Fund and the World Food Program.
