Netflix plans to open a new regional office in Poland, which will deal with the Central and Eastern European market.

Netflix notes that the CEE market and the Polish market in particular are significant for the company. Polish localization on Netflix appeared in 2016, after which Romanian, Czech, Hungarian, Croatian and Ukrainian languages were added.

During this time, the company has invested almost half a billion zlotys in original Polish content and created about 2,600 jobs, so opening an office in Warsaw is a logical step to further expand Netflix’s presence in the region. We hope that this will also mean the emergence of high-quality Ukrainian content.

There is no exact date for the opening of the office, it is only known that it should happen “this year”. Meanwhile, it will be recalled that Netflix suspended work in Russia due to the war with Ukraine
