At the end of last year, analysts from the American publication Forbes compiled a list of 12 technological predictions for 2025 that will significantly impact the development of humanity.

"Ekonomichna Pravda" selected some of them, and Favbet Tech CEO Artem Skrypnyk shared his vision of the important technological trends of the year that will change the world.

Yes, this year will see an active transformation through AI and robotics. According to the specialist, multimodal AI will soon change the field of healthcare, education, communications and many other industries, and AI agents will become a strategic workforce; this technology is universal and can be configured for different tasks.

"Today, we are observing a global trend in the development of multimodal AI models that are capable of processing texts, images, audio, etc. Similarly, the direction of AI agents is actively developing, around which there is a lot of hype and discussion. AI agents are such autonomous programs that can independently perform tasks. This can potentially change various industries. I would not talk about AI agents now as some kind of game changer for 2025, but in the long term, when we technically learn to work with them correctly and have all the technical capabilities to implement AI agents, they will certainly have a very strong impact on most business industries and states. In the next year or two, we will see a focus on efficiency and solving urgent problems," explained Artem Skrypnyk.

According to the expert, this year we can expect a boom in the IT sector and in the development of new technologies for various businesses. "This applies to both export-oriented industries and logistics, where it is already being implemented. We are talking about solutions that use AI, for example, for big data analysis, automation, marketing, customer support, and supply chain optimization. All of this will be integrated into various industries: agrarian industry, manufacturing, fintech. As for the public sector and public services, there is an important issue of regulation, ethics, and the state's readiness to use new technologies. If we talk about technologies, then the potential here is also huge: automating hundreds of routine processes, processing requests, sorting documents, making certain template decisions. This is what Diya and the Ministry of Digital Economy are doing now - they are essentially digitizing decision-making," said Artem.

According to various analysts, cybersecurity spending will exceed $300 billion in 2025 due to the increase in threats using artificial intelligence. "We see a huge trend for cybersecurity. Cybersecurity spending is growing every year, as artificial intelligence affects this issue from two sides. Both from the point of view of attackers - it gives them new opportunities, and from the point of view of those who are defending themselves - it gives new opportunities for protection. I think that here Ukraine is one of the most attacked countries in the world," said the CEO of Favbet Tech.

In Ukraine, they plan to finally legalize cryptocurrencies in 2025. So is there a cryptocurrency boom? "Yes. But can we say that the cryptocurrency market is the same as it was 3-5-7 years ago? Of course not. Trump's victory in the elections certainly influenced this cryptocurrency boom, because the US president is a supporter of the crypto industry. This industry is moving towards traditional financial markets, such as the securities market or precious metals, or the currency market. That is, the world is moving towards regulation, the creation of a legal framework for companies operating in this market, for service providers, service providers. I think that this trend will only intensify in the coming years. The correlation with traditional markets will intensify. The stock market falls - the cryptocurrency market also falls. The stock market grows - the cryptocurrency market also grows," Artem Skrypnyk concluded.
