On the morning of August 11, drones attacked the Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant in Russia. This was reported by the OSINT analyst community KiberBoroshno. According to experts, three hits were recorded.
Analysts recalled that the enterprise in Arzamas is part of Almaz - Antey and the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation. The plant produces key elements used in Russian missiles:
· K-051(M) system – used in X - 32 cruise missiles;
· Damping gyroscope blocks BDG ‑ 1 M – designed for cruise missiles X‑101;
· Electrified steering machine blocks (BREM-3) and automatic elimination systems (ASL-1) – integrated into the X - 59 missiles.
According to the War&Sanctions portal, sanctions are in place against this Russian company. They were applied by: Ukraine, the USA, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Japan.
By the way, recently a Ukrainian drone hit a radar for the S-500 Prometheus air defense system in Crimea. This is a radar that is supposed to detect ballistic targets, hypersonic vehicles, stealth targets, satellites in low orbits, and highly maneuverable aerodynamic targets.
