Since the beginning of 2025, the Ministry of Defense has allowed 600 samples of Ukrainian-developed weapons and military equipment to be used in the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Almost half of them are drones. Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Valery Churkin said this in an interview with DOU.
For comparison, in the first six months of 2024, the Ministry of Defense codified 320 samples of military equipment, which is half the figure this year.
According to Valery Churkin, the number of codified drones on fiber optics has increased significantly since the beginning of the year. We are talking about 70 models out of 250 drones accepted for operation.
In addition, 100 Ukrainian ammunition of various types, 50 electronic warfare and reconnaissance equipment, and 30 ground robotic complexes have been admitted to service in the army. At the same time, the official noted that the Ministry of Defense is working on new unification rules for the "explosive scaling" of the most effective models of reconnaissance equipment.
It should be noted that recently, at the Brave1 Connect event, 100 Ukrainian companies presented their own components for drones. All domestically produced components can be purchased by the military on the Brave1 Market platform, which will greatly simplify the search for components for UAVs and over time will allow the best technological solutions to be identified.
