Starting in August 2025, the Defense Forces will receive Ukrainian-made UAVs, ground robotic complexes, and electronic warfare equipment for their units for points from the "Drone Army.Bonus" program. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The department assures that all interaction with the military and manufacturers will take place online, and the equipment will reach the front faster.
"More than 400 units performing combat missions along the entire front line have already joined the bonus program," the Ministry of Digital Affairs said in a statement.
It was explained here that previously in the program, the State Special Communications Service was responsible for checking the damage and transferring the drones. Now the functions will be performed by:
- Brave1 – will verify confirmation of hits from the military, calculate combat points and develop the Brave1 Market. Here, units, through authorization in DELTA, will be able to choose the technologies they need for effective work.
- Defense Procurement Agency – will be responsible for the qualification of manufacturers, operational procurement, and transfer of equipment to units through DOT-Chain Defence.
- The Ministry of Digital Affairs, as before, will shape the program's policy.
The process of obtaining equipment by the military will take place as follows:
- The unit orders codified UAVs, NRCs or EW equipment, as well as uncodified FPV drones on the Brave1 Market through the secure DELTA system, for points.
- The order enters the digital system of the DOT-Chain Defence platform from the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense, and the entire procedure - from concluding a deal to payment - will take place online.
At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology Mykhailo Fedorov added that units will be able to place orders for the new model from August, both for combat points earned during June and for those that were not used earlier.
As you know, the "Drone Army.Bonus" program has been operating for over 10 months. Since then, about 95% of drone units operating along the entire front line have joined it.
