Flamingo manufacturing company announced its own ballistic missiles and air defense systems – Militarnyi
Ukrainian company Fire Point, which created the Flamingo missile, announced at the MSPO 2025 exhibition in Poland the development of its own ballistic missiles FP-7 and FP-9, as well as air defense systems. This is reported by Militarnyi.
The company has already revealed the technical specifications of the new missiles.
The FP-7 has a declared range of up to 200 km, a maximum speed of 1500 m/s , and a circular deviation of 14 meters. The warhead weighs 150 kg, and the maximum flight duration is 250 seconds. This missile can be launched from a ground platform and is designed for rapid engagement of targets at medium distances.
The more powerful FP-9 has a flight range of up to 855 km, a speed of up to 2200 m/s, a combat load of 800 kg, and a flight altitude of 70 km.
It is separately noted that its accuracy is 20 meters, thus the FP-9 is capable of hitting targets deep in the rear.
Recall that information about the Ukrainian Flamingo missile appeared in August. Then the first photo of the development was published. Soon, information about the production of Flamingo was officially confirmed by Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the missiles should be put into mass production in a few months.
An Associated Press report says that as of late August, Flamingos are being produced at about one per day. By October, that number is expected to increase to seven per day.
According to Militarnyi, on August 31, the Defense Forces hit an FSB facility in Crimea with Flamingo missiles.
