The Ministry of Digital Transformation announced the Veteran Venture Program, whose participants will be able to compete for the opportunity to raise up to $20,000 for the development of veteran tech businesses.

"We support veterans after returning from war. If you have experience in IT or entrepreneurship, apply to the Veteran Venture Program from SKELAR. In eight weeks of intensive training, you will go through the entire process of creating a startup - from an idea to creating an MVP and preparing a presentation for investors," the Ministry of Digital Affairs said in a statement.

At each stage, participants will be provided with mentoring support by SKELAR experts who have worked with Meta, Google, Microsoft, and other tech giants.

The program can be joined by veterans with confirmed status who have:

· experience in IT, marketing, design or sales, or with two years of previous entrepreneurial experience;

· a business idea in the field of technology and/or a formed team of two people;

· high motivation and understanding of the market they plan to work in.

"In the finale of the program, participants will pitch their projects to investors. The best ones will continue working on their startups during the incubation period and compete for a chance to raise up to $20,000 for business development," the report said.
