$100,000 for military developments: hackathon for engineers to be held in seven cities of Ukraine

On August 2, the engineering hackathon "Land of Engineers" will begin in Ukraine, organized by the Lobby X and Technological Forces of Ukraine platforms. The event, which starts in Uzhhorod, provides for free participation for specialists, students of technical specialties, developers and startups who work or plan to work in the miltech sphere.

The program will cover Uzhhorod, Ternopil, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Poltava, and Dnipro. The events will last from August to October 2025. Participants can present their ideas or prototypes in the areas of autonomization, communications, mechatronics, energy, power supply, aircraft design, and radio communications.

The best solutions will receive funding of up to $100,000, as well as expert and production support to bring the projects to combat effectiveness. The organizers plan to place participants in existing military projects in accordance with current requests from the front.

The initiative is designed to respond to the needs of the defense industry, which has undergone massive development since the start of full-scale war.
