Denmark will become the first country to import Ukrainian military technologies

- 4 July, 06:39 PM

Ukraine has signed an agreement that defines specific steps to assist Ukrainian defense companies in establishing new production facilities in Denmark. The relevant document was signed in Copenhagen on July 4 by Ukrainian Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin and Danish Minister of Industry, Business and Finance Morten Bødskov.

According to Herman Smetanin, Denmark will be the first country to which Ukraine will export its own defense technologies. The goal of these exports is to improve and scale up the production of Ukrainian weapons for the Defense Forces.

The agreement states that both countries will remove legal obstacles to cooperation and protect shared technologies from misuse through various initiatives and projects.

The ministry recalled that on April 16, Denmark announced the allocation of $28.5 million for the purchase of weapons and military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will be manufactured at Ukrainian factories. This was the first step that launched the ZBROYARI: Manufacturing Freedom project.

As a reminder, we recently reported that the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant registered an international patent for the 2S22 "Bogdan" self-propelled gun. This is the first step towards the possible establishment of licensed production of the Ukrainian artillery system in Europe.

Another Ukrainian company, Skyeton, which specializes in the production of the Raybird reconnaissance drone, has agreed with the British company Prevail Partners to jointly promote and establish the production of this drone.
