The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that a new training course dedicated to ground robotic complexes (GRC) has been launched in the Army+ application. This is the second course on unmanned systems, following the successful launch of the UAV program, which was attended by more than 30,000 servicemen.

The new course includes 11 video lessons that cover the main aspects of using NRCs: their types, integration into combat units, maintenance and operator training. After each module, participants take a test, and the final exam allows them to receive an electronic certificate.

According to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization, Kateryna Chernogorenko, ground robotic complexes perform important tasks, including ammunition delivery, demining, and reconnaissance, reducing risks for the military, as they control these robots remotely.

The launch of the course was supported by the Office of Effective Regulation BRDO. In total, 12 educational programs are already available in the Army+ application, which are being attended by 88 thousand servicemen, of whom 35 thousand have completed at least one course. The most popular courses remain "Unmanned Systems. Fundamentals of UAVs" and "Information Resilience. Cybersecurity."

Recently, the 13th brigade of the Charter National Guard conducted a successful evacuation operation in the Kharkiv direction on one of the ground robotic complexes. The Charter soldier, who needed medical care, was loaded onto the Targan ground robotic complex, converted into a tow truck, and successfully delivered to the evacuation group. The total distance of the evacuation route was 12 km. This case shows the importance of using robotic equipment in war conditions that does not put the lives of soldiers at risk.
