- 7 October, 03:01 PM

UkrOboronProm announced the signing of several memorandums of cooperation following the results of the first day of the third International Defense Industry Forum (DFNC3) in Kyiv.

For example, a strategic manufacturer of weapons and military equipment in Ukraine has agreed to cooperate on the "float-and-fly" concept with the American company LeVanta Tech Inc. The manufacturer's website states that the company is developing aerial drones that are launched from the sea.

"We also plan to jointly develop solutions to increase the speed and stability of our products. We are interested in developing production in Ukraine, as well as organizing training for our gunsmiths," says the UkrOboronProm statement regarding LeVanta Tech.

UkrOboronProm also put new agreements on paper with the Spanish Escribano. The parties are already cooperating in the direction of modernizing Ukrainian armored vehicles with combat modules. Now we are talking about the prospect of cooperation in the direction of air defense and deepening cooperation in the field of armored vehicles.

At the same time, in the context of cooperation, UkrOboronProm mentioned the Romanian company Romarm.

"We are considering the possibility of joint production of technical solutions and unmanned platforms. We also plan to jointly attract investments to finance projects," the message said.

By the way, it was recently reported that Romania is considering the possibility of joint production of drones with Ukraine within the framework of the new European Union defense program. The project is planned to be implemented with funding from the SAFE initiative, which provides for the rearmament of EU member states.
