Ukrainian military deploys mission to Denmark to share experience in countering drones – Zelenskyy

The Ukrainian military has begun deploying a mission in Denmark to disseminate Ukrainian experience in drone defense, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced.

According to him, the military arrived to participate in joint exercises with partners, which could become the basis for a new system to counter Russian and any other drones.

"Ukrainian experience is the most relevant in Europe right now, and it is our experience, our specialists, and our technologies that can become a key element of the future European "Drone Wall"  a large-scale project that will guarantee safety in the sky," Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

He also added that the Chief of Staff reported on the first report of the team from Denmark. The Head of State instructed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Minister of Defense, and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council to work promptly with partners in Europe who are capable of deploying a system to counter drones.

"The results of the mission in Denmark will form an appropriate framework for cooperation with other European countries," the President noted.

Earlier, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced an agreement with Ukraine to allocate 2 billion euros for the production of drones.
