Ukraine will produce hundreds of thousands of drones with former Google director
Ukraine is expanding its strategic partnership with a leading manufacturer of artificial intelligence drones. The memorandum was signed by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Swift Beat, LLC CEO Eric Schmidt.
The parties agreed on large-scale production of interceptor drones, quadcopters, and strike systems. In addition, innovative technological solutions will be developed for Ukraine that will allow countering cruise and ballistic missiles.
As Umerov noted, we are talking about hundreds of thousands of drones in 2025, with a further increase in their production in 2026. Among them are Iranian-Russian Shahed interceptor drones, which have already proven their effectiveness on the battlefield.
The government official emphasized that Swift Beat, LLC will produce drones for Ukraine on special terms - at the cost of production.
The American company Swift Beat, LLC, headed by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, is actively working in the field of technology for the Ukrainian army. It specializes in the production of drones with AI, and cooperates with Ukrainian engineers and the military. Testing of new developments and technological solutions takes place in Ukraine.
As we previously reported, Ukrainian company Skyeton has formed a joint venture with British company Prevail Partners to expand drone production outside the country. It is expected that Skyeton will provide the technology to produce its own Raybird UAV, and the British company will provide production facilities for its production.
