The first satellite images of destroyed Russian planes at Belaya airbase have appeared
The first satellite images have appeared on the Internet, which allow us to better assess the losses of Russians at the Belaya airbase in the Irkutsk region as part of a special operation by the Security Service of Ukraine. The corresponding photos were published by GEOINT consultant Chris Biggers.
Judging by the images, four Tu-22M3 bombers and three Tu-95MS were likely destroyed during the operation. In addition, one Tu-95MS was likely damaged.
Recall that on June 1, the SBU conducted a large-scale special operation called "Web". During it, Ukrainian drones attacked strategic aviation in the Russian rear. In addition to "Belaya", the air bases "Olenya", "Dyagilevo" and "Ivanovo" were also hit.
According to the SBU, the estimated cost of the enemy's strategic aviation that was hit during the operation is $ 7 billion. The service also emphasized that during "Website" 34% of strategic cruise missile carriers at the main airfields of the Russian Federation were hit.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that 117 drones and a corresponding number of operators were used for the operation. According to him, the "office" of the operation on the territory of the Russian Federation was located directly next to the Russian FSB department in one of their regions.
