The Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received five re-equipped command and staff vehicles (CSVs) based on the Kozak armored vehicle. The work on complete technical re-equipment and additional equipment was financed by the Metinvest group of companies.
UAH 2 million was allocated for the re-equipment of the machines. They were equipped with comfortable workplaces for personnel and modern communication equipment with means of communication protection that are resistant to the influence of electronic warfare was installed. In addition, the KSHM received equipment for automation, autonomous backup power supply and other tasks.
The vehicles have already been received by the signalmen of one of the Land Forces units. They will be used to ensure 24-hour stable radio communications and control at the tactical level of the Land Forces.
It was previously reported that Ukraine plans to localize the production of Spanish Guardian combat modules. These modules are already being purchased for the Kozak-5 armored vehicles and M113 armored personnel carriers of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
