Special operations forces hit the radar station of the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense system
Special Operations Forces units struck the radar station of the Russian S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system on the night of September 30. This is stated in a statement by the Special Operations Forces.
"It is symbolic that the enemy's expensive air defense system, aimed, in particular, at UAVs, was neutralized by SSO strike drones. The radar station is the "eyes" of the S-400 Triumph complex. Without the observation and guidance element, the entire system loses its combat capability," the report said.
The SSO also added that their units continue to inflict significant damage on the enemy, accelerating his inability to conduct further combat operations.
By the way, recently, the "Prymary" special unit of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry burned two enemy An-26s in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea and hit the Russian radar.
Before that, the "Prymary" hunted down two Russian Be-12 "Chaika" anti-submarine aircraft in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. They also destroyed three Mi-8 helicopters and a Russian radar in Crimea.
By the way, the S-400 "Triumph" has been in service with the Russian Federation since the mid-2000s. This air defense system is designed to destroy aircraft, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. The complexes are deployed around key Russian cities, military facilities and in the occupied Crimea.
