Shaheds changed tactics to reduce the effectiveness of Ukrainian interceptors – Flash
Shaheds began performing a complex set of maneuvers in flight aimed at reducing the effectiveness of Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones. This was stated by military radio technology specialist Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov.
"The enemy was prepared in advance for a number of countermeasures, and these are only the first manifestations... we will work on technologies against their technologies. You didn't think that the enemy would give up its most massive weapons so easily," the specialist added.
As is known, Ukraine has set a course to scale up the production of interceptors to destroy Russian drones. For example, on July 23, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that Ukraine has already ordered interceptor drones worth over UAH 3 billion under four contracts.
The head of the defense department also reported that the Ministry of Defense is negotiating with partners to attract funding for the purchase of such interceptors. According to him, the first agreements have already been reached.
In addition, recently, the head of the KMVA, Timur Tkachenko, announced the launch of a "full-fledged" system for intercepting enemy drones flying over Kyiv. According to him, UAH 260 million will be allocated for the implementation of the initiative.
