SSU showed how it struck enemy targets with Ukrainian FP-2 drones
The SSU launched a series of strikes on Russian military equipment and personnel bases. The strikes were carried out using FP-2 drones with a 105-kilogram warhead, the Security Service said in a statement.
"Operators of strike drones of the Special Operations Center "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine practiced on enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territories. Our fighters struck the places of concentration of enemy equipment and manpower," the SSU said in a statement.
Recall that in September, the Ukrainian company Fire Point presented the FP-2 "middle strike" class attack drone in Poland for hitting targets near the front.
The drone is structurally similar to the long-range FP-1 UAV, which is used to strike targets behind enemy lines, but has different characteristics. The range has been reduced to 200 km, and the warhead has been increased to 105 kg.
It is claimed that the Ukrainian UAV is capable of hitting stationary objects in autonomous guidance mode, as well as moving ones, in which case it is controlled by an operator via radio. The drone can operate both day and night.
We should add that the FP-1 drone was presented in the spring of 2025. At that time, it was reported that it was designed to defeat the enemy at strategic depth. The drone can carry a warhead of up to 120 kg and fly a distance of up to 1,600 km.
Among other things, Fire Point is known as the developer of the Ukrainian Flamingo missile with a flight range of over 3,000 km.
