Russian propaganda media have spread information about the testing of the Posoh laser system from the LazerBuzz company at a training ground in the northwestern region of Russia, Defense Express reports.

During testing, the laser reportedly struck a mock-up battery of an FPV drone from a distance of 500 meters in one second of action. According to the manufacturer, it would take just two milliseconds to hit the engine of a "similar drone."

It is noted that the power of the "Staff" is 3 kW, however, LazerBuzz has also reportedly developed an 80 kW system, which is planned to be used to protect industrial and critical infrastructure. It is stated that it will be tested in combat conditions by the end of this year.

As part of the same project, Russia also announced an anti-drone system, the "Luchemyot." It is positioned as a countermeasure to Ukrainian drones of the "Lyuty" type and has a range of up to 1,500 meters.

It was previously reported that enemy Russian troops are using the Chinese Silent Hunter laser system, which has a power of 30 kW, to combat Ukrainian reconnaissance drones.
