The enemy has demonstrated how it can use the Shaheds to mine areas with anti-tank mines. The corresponding Russian video was released by military radio technology specialist Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov.
Recently, a specialist warned that the aggressor had begun attaching anti-tank mine cassettes to the Shaheds. Last week, enemy strike drones carrying two PTM-3 mine cassettes under their wings were spotted in several regions of Ukraine.
The specialist explained that the mine has a magnetic detonator and reacts to nearby equipment. However, at that time, according to Flash, it was unclear what and why the enemy wanted to mine. Apparently, now the situation is becoming clearer.
"The enemy today (August 10 – ed.) showed exactly how mining is done. I'm not sure yet that the video is from Shahed, but the principle is the same. They claim that they will mine logistics," wrote Serhii Beskrestnov.
By the way, the previously used "Lancet" loitering munition also received a new warhead in the form of an anti-tank mine. The enemy equipped the drone with a Soviet cumulative anti-tank mine PTM-3.
