"Dan-M": Russia attacked Ukraine with a new drone, it reaches speeds of up to 750 km/h

On the morning of May 29, Russia attacked Ukraine with a new type of attack jet UAV "Dan-M". The drones were launched by a group from Crimea. This was reported by military radio technology specialist Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov.

According to him, "Dan-M" is a reactive target for training and testing air defense, which the Russian Federation converted into an attack UAV.

"Similarly, at the beginning of the war, we modified the STRIZH jet UAVs, but we did this because we lacked cruise missiles and long-range strike UAVs. It is unclear why Russia made this modification. Unless they have a large number of these UAVs," the specialist noted.

He also noted that in the original the target is red, but in this case the color of its body was changed.

"Flash" also clarified that the flight time of this UAV is 25-40 minutes, the speed is 400-750 km/h, and the flight altitude is up to 9 km.

The specialist also recently reported that the Russians have begun using an AI drone that can travel 100 km to attack Ukraine. Its feature is the presence of a gasoline engine.
