Another service has appeared on the online platform Zbroya, which collects information about all key state services and opportunities for gunsmiths. This is access to the codification of weapons samples, reported Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Hanna Gvozdiar.

"How does the new service work? Through the "window for the manufacturer of weapons and military equipment", you can submit an application online and quickly go through the procedure for codifying a new model of weapons and military equipment. The procedure is free and aimed at a single key goal - so that there are more Ukrainian weapons on the battlefield and they reach the army quickly and without any barriers," she explained.

The website explains exactly how the service works:

- The manufacturer applies for codification and attaches the necessary documents;

- The Ministry of Internal Affairs reviews the documents;

- The manufacturer receives a conclusion from the commission of the Main Department for Ensuring Lifecycle Support of Military Equipment with recommendations on the possibility of codifying the sample;

- A sample of munitions is assigned a NATO nomenclature code and a temporary staff number.

A step-by-step algorithm for preparing products for codification, typical forms of required documents, as well as explanations regarding the codification of UAVs, electronic warfare equipment, and ammunition are posted on the website mil-tech.mod.gov.ua.

At the same time, the Deputy Minister reminded of the task of creating a complete ecosystem for manufacturers in one place. So that with the help of the portal it would be possible to implement all stages of weapons creation: testing, codification, attracting finance, hiring people, and scaling production.

Recall that the Ministry of Defence launched a single platform of services for manufacturers of weapons and military equipment in Ukraine in August 2025. The initiative was created as a single "entry point" for manufacturers, where they can find the government services, programs, and up-to-date information they need.
