The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has allowed more than 40 new unmanned aircraft systems to be operated in the Defense Forces in July 2025. This was reported by the Main Directorate for Lifecycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment.

According to the defense ministry, all UAVs are Ukrainian-made. Among the complexes put into operation last month, FPV drones with various characteristics predominate.

In total, according to the results of January-July of this year, the Ministry of Defense codified 320 unmanned aircraft systems, and almost all of them were also Ukrainian-made.

The figure for seven months is higher than for the entire last year - then a little over 280 Ukrainian aerial drones were codified.

It was previously reported that during July 2025, the Ministry of Defense approved about 140 new models of weapons and military equipment for operation in the Defense Forces.

In addition, last month, the Defense Department codified and approved 50 new ammunition for use in the Defense Forces.
