The developers of the tactical system for coordinating fighters and equipment ComBat Vision have opened access to a trial version of their application "ComBat 4". This is a tactical navigator with a built-in ability to view the current situation from open sources and navigate the terrain. The developers themselves announced this on social media.
The trial version of "ComBat 4" works on devices with the Android operating system . It has a limit of 30 users on the network and it is not possible to install additional military plugins on it. The developers position the application as software for logistics drivers, members of the medevac group or volunteers who are often near the combat zone.
This application will allow you to navigate in terrain without satellites, view the current situation in the combat zone, use a height map, check direct visibility to objects and perform other tasks. For example, in the program you can switch map layers, there is an opportunity to determine the distance on the map, put marks and perform other actions. There is also data update from DeepState.
The developers themselves stated that they took into account the recent changes in the situation on the front and the general request to reduce the risks of accidental entry into occupied territories. The program should reduce the level of friendly fire and simplify navigation on the terrain.
