Demining operators can now get certified online at Diia

Certification of mine action operators is now available on the Diia portal. Here you can go through all its stages - from submitting an application to signing contracts in digital format. This is stated in the message of the public services service.

"There are currently 125 demining operators working in Ukraine - and we are eliminating bureaucratic barriers for them. We have reformed the certification process: instead of trips to one of the four certification bodies across the country and piles of papers - an online application. Transparently and quickly submit documents, track the status of the application and receive a decision in the operator's office on the Diia portal," the message says.

It is claimed that in the operator's office on the Diia portal, specialists receive or extend the validity of the certificate, expand the scope of activity, or undergo monitoring. The entire cycle of demining operator activities is here.

How to get an operator certificate?

- log in to the Diya portal using the official's CEP;

- choose the desired service – Mine Action Operator Certification;

- choose initial or re-certification, expansion of scope of activity or other required action;

- fill out the online application and upload the required documents;

- sign everything using a KEP;

- track the status in the operator's personal account.

It was previously reported that a Ukrainian company has created a ground-based drone called Bufalo , whose main task is logistics and humanitarian demining. It has several advantages, including a communications system, a diesel engine, and protection.
