In confirmation of this, experts have published a corresponding image. It shows the outlines of the destroyer under a blue coating. According to one of the members of the Cyber Flour team, this is a tarpaulin and in this way they tried to hide the destroyer from the satellite.
Earlier, it was reported that an accident occurred in North Korea during the launch of a new 5,000-ton destroyer. The information was published by Reuters with reference to the North Korean KCNA.
The cause of the incident was said to be a loss of balance during the launch of the destroyer, as a result of which parts of its bottom were "crushed".
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un attended the ceremony where the incident occurred. He said the accident was a "criminal act" and "shameful to the dignity and self-respect" of the country.
He said the immediate restoration of the destroyer was “not just a practical matter, but a political matter that is directly related to the country’s authority.” Kim Jong-un ordered the restoration of the destroyer before the Party Central Committee Plenum in June.
