At the DEFEA 2025 international exhibition in Athens, the Armenian company Maktes Arms presented two new models of small arms - the T-AB 1A assault rifle and the T-AB 2A semi-automatic rifle. "Militarnyi" writes about this with a link to the company's official Facebook page.
The T-AB 1A model has a bullpup layout, which allows you to reduce the dimensions of the weapon without losing the length of the barrel. It supports calibers 5.56×45 mm NATO, 5.45×39 mm and 7.62×39 mm, and its rate of fire is 600-700 rounds per minute. The rifle is convenient for use by both right-handed and left-handed shooters.
The T-AB 2A is aimed at medium-range precision shooting and supports 7.62×51mm NATO, 6.5mm Creedmoor and 308 Winchester. It has a traditional layout and weighs 4.5 kg.
Both models meet NATO standards and can be used by military and special forces. The manufacturer claims that these models meet modern combat requirements, combining compactness, modularity and the ability to use different calibers.
