The Ukrainian government has approved amendments to Resolution No. 1129 and opened the market for training NRC and water drone operators. Until now, this model has only worked for training UAV pilots. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
"Now the military will be able to master certified training in private schools, and the state will pay for these courses. By the end of the year, this will make it possible to train thousands of specialists who will manage the latest technologies on the battlefield and in naval operations," the government official noted.
He also recalled that Ukrainian ground robotic complexes have already become an important part of the front. They transport cargo, evacuate the wounded, and perform engineering tasks. The impact of water drones, according to Mikhail Fedorov, is also growing – their effectiveness has been proven in naval operations.
At the same time, the First Deputy Prime Minister promised to provide more information about the possibilities of training operators of land robots and water drones later.
By the way, recently the Gnom NRC was adapted for evacuating the wounded using the Shuttle mobile robot. In addition to the evacuation function, the Gnom is being tested for combat missions.
