The Ministry of Defence has codified the Predator combat module, which can fire on the move

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has codified and admitted to operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine the domestic remotely controlled combat module Khyzhak. This was reported by the Main Directorate for Life Cycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment.

"The ‘Khyzhak’ weapon station can be used both in stationary positions and on mobile platforms. The 7.62 mm machine guns installed on it can be equipped with Soviet-type and NATO-standard ammunition," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

It was noted here that the remotely controlled module can fire at ranges of small arms fire. Accompany and fire in different planes: at targets on the ground or in the air. The stabilization of the platform allows for accurate fire even while moving.

Previously, the Ministry of Defenсe allowed the remotely controlled combat module "ShaBlya MK19(M)" to be put into operation, designed for conducting dense and accurate fire from a 40 mm MK19 automatic grenade launcher.

The development is adapted for installation on ground robotic complexes and vehicles, and the platform can be operated by 1-2 people.
