The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces a new ground robotic complex "Murakha". This tracked unmanned aerial vehicle is designed to support units in difficult combat conditions, including under enemy fire or in mined territory.
The complex has high load-carrying capacity - it is capable of transporting more than half a ton of cargo over considerable distances, including moving over rough terrain and overcoming small water obstacles. "Murakha" is equipped with various control channels, which ensures its operation even in the range of enemy electronic warfare equipment.
The drone was first shown in January 2024. According to the developers, it can cover more than 15 km on a single charge and weighs 350 kg. The drone's autonomy is provided by one or two electric batteries with a capacity of 6, 8 or 13.6 kW, which should be enough for approximately 30-40 kilometers. The drone works in any weather conditions, and 80% of its components are manufactured in Ukraine.
By the way, the Ministry of Defense recently also codified another unmanned ground robotic complex of the heavy class "PROTECTOR". It can transport up to 700 kg of cargo and perform combat missions, saving the lives of soldiers. The main task of the complex will be the transportation of ammunition and equipment, as well as the evacuation of wounded soldiers.
