Ukrainian automotive equipment for the army: The Ministry of Defenсe codified new models in April

In April 2025, the Ministry of Defenсe codified and admitted 12 models of automotive equipment for various purposes to the Defense Forces of Ukraine. More than 60% of them are domestically produced, according to the Main Department for Lifecycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment.

In total, since the beginning of this year, more than 50 samples of automotive equipment have been codified and approved for operation for the needs of the Defenсe Forces.

This list includes: wheeled evacuation tractors-transporters, tractor units, vehicles for transporting oversized cargo, modern all-terrain chassis for a wide range of applications, truck cranes, buses, passenger pickup trucks, etc.

The Ministry of Defenсe added that in addition to Ukrainian vehicles, the fleet of vehicles was replenished with models from leading global automakers.

It recently became known that the Ministry of Defenсe has codified three modifications of Ukrainian pump-action shotguns effective against drones. The 12-gauge pump-action shotguns are designed to perform various tactical tasks. They use cartridges with a case length of 76 millimeters, which can be equipped with bullets or shot.
