- 12 September, 01:32 PM

Ukrainian defense company Falcons has attracted investment from the American venture fund Green Flag Ventures, which will allow it to scale production, obtain NATO certification, and further offer its products to allies. This is stated in the company's press release.

Falcons was founded in 2022. Its list of developments includes, among others, the ETER tactical-level direction finder complex. This product has already demonstrated its capabilities on the battlefield. Thanks to it, the destruction of a Russian system worth about 90 million US dollars was confirmed.

"This investment proves that Ukrainian combat experience creates technologies for global application. Our next step is to scale up the production of ETER, align it with NATO standards, and provide allies with effective solutions they can trust. Thanks to the support of Green Flag Ventures, we will be able to use the experience gained on the battlefield to create more effective electronic warfare technologies that will increase the resilience of the alliance. We plan to direct part of the investment to market research, production planning, and the creation of ready-made solutions so that Ukrainian technologies enter global markets faster and with a stronger position when exports are officially opened," said Yegor Dudinov, CEO and co-founder of Falcons.

The funding received will be directed towards solving three key tasks:

· NATO standardization and scaling up of ETER production.

· Team expansion: involving engineers and military practitioners.

· Export preparation: developing a strategy to enter the NATO market.

As for the ETER direction finding system itself, it is independent of GPS, has compact dimensions, and is also 30-50 times cheaper than similar NATO solutions. At the front, the direction finder has demonstrated a range of over 600 km.

It is worth noting that Falcons has already received grants from the Brave1 defense technology support cluster three times - in 2023, 2024, and 2025. It has also attracted investment from an angel investor.

It was previously reported that the British-Ukrainian startup Offset Labs, founded in 2024 by three Ukrainian engineers, received over $1 million in investment to create specialized artificial intelligence models for the defense sector.
