The Lancet ranged ammunition has received a new warhead in the form of an anti-tank mine. "Militarnyi" writes about this with a link to a video by user Tomasz Kwasek on the X platform.

According to the publication, the Russians equipped the drone with a Soviet-made PTM-3 cumulative anti-tank mine. It was designed to hit light and heavy armored vehicles.

The characteristics of the PTM-3 differ from those of the standard KZ-6 warhead. First of all, the mass of the explosive in the PTM-3 is 1.8 kg compared to 1.5 kg in the KZ-6. The total mass of the warheads also differs - in the PTM-3 it reaches 4.9 kg, and in the KZ-6 - 3 kg.

By the way, the Armed Forces of France, Germany, Great Britain and other European countries are testing the new HX-2 strike drone. It is seen as a European response to the Russian Lancet.

Successful completion of the tests could pave the way for the UAVs to be purchased by the aforementioned countries. For example, the German Bundeswehr plans to complete testing of the HX-2 by the end of the year.
