The Ministry of Defense opened a complex for testing demining vehicles

The Ministry of Defense has opened the Ukrainian Training and Testing Complex (UTTC) for the development of the latest technologies in the field of mine action, civil protection and environmental safety. This is stated in a statement from the defense department.

On the first day of the landfill's operation, products of domestic enterprises, expositions of scientific institutions, and techno-industrial clusters were presented there.

"The training and testing complex has routes and obstacle courses for light and heavy mechanized demining vehicles, sites for testing unmanned aerial and ground robotic systems, metal detectors, special demining equipment, civil defense facilities, and equipment for environmental control," the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

The department notes that experience in the field of mine action, civil protection and environmental safety, research and development activities and production capabilities for the development, testing and implementation of the latest projects will be accumulated here.

By the way, in early May 2025, it became known that Ukraine is preparing its first heavy remote demining complex for mass production. This is the "GART 5100" manufactured by the Ukrainian engineering company XTI Engineering, which has passed the state certification procedure.
