Roshel and Leonardo have unveiled the Senator Counter-UAS armored vehicle, which will help protect against drones, according to a statement from the Canadian manufacturer.

The vehicle is equipped with the field-proven Falcon Shield system from Italian company Leonardo. The platform is capable of detecting, tracking and neutralizing various drone threats, including military drones.

The Falcon Shield system has a specialized radar, electronic and optical surveillance equipment operating in the complex, can see threats 360 degrees, and also suppress them using electronic warfare.

The Senator Counter-UAS is designed for rapid deployment in various defense scenarios. The vehicle's systems are compatible with NATO standards.

As is known, Ukrainian defenders have been using the Roshel Senator armored vehicle since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. According to UkrOboronProm, such vehicles allow Ukrainian soldiers to move quickly, protect themselves from bullets and debris, and perform various combat missions.

In April, UkrOboronProm announced that these vehicles would soon begin to be manufactured in Ukraine thanks to an agreement to establish a joint production facility with Roshel.

In total, 1,800 Roshel vehicles in various configurations were delivered to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
