Khartiia successfully evacuated a wounded soldier thanks to a ground robot – it traveled 12 km
The 13th Khartiia Brigade conducted a successful operation to evacuate a wounded person using a ground robotic complex. This was reported by the brigade's press service. In a conversation with Defence, Khartiia clarified that it was a Ukrainian robot-logist Targan converted into a tow truck.
"The Khartiia Officer, who required medical attention, was loaded onto a ground robotic complex and successfully delivered to the evacuation group, from where he was taken to doctors," the brigade noted.
The joint operation of the NRC unit and the operational support battalion was carried out in the Charter's area of responsibility north of Kharkiv. The total distance of the evacuation route was 12 km.
In late 2024, the team conducted its first fully robotic operation – without human intervention, using only ground-based robotic systems and drones. A timeline of the first 24 hours of the operation can be viewed in the video The Movement Has Begun.
