The Borei-A submarines are part of the Russian nuclear triad. Each vessel has 16 launch pods for R-30 Bulava-30 missiles, capable of carrying 10 warheads each.
"Knyaz Pozharsky" was officially commissioned into the 31st division of the Russian Northern Fleet on July 24, 2025 and is based in Gadzhievo, Murmansk Region. It was personally sent on combat duty by Vladimir Putin.
According to military intelligence estimates, the documents obtained allow us to analyze the technical features not only of this submarine, but also of other Project 955A units that are of strategic importance for the Russian military doctrine.
