FPV drones from DOT-Chain Defence are delivered to the front in less than a week – Defense Procurement Agency

- 22 August, 01:22 PM

The average delivery time for orders from the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace is up to two weeks. The fastest delivery time for FPV drones is 6 days, for bombers is 12 days. This was reported by the Defense Procurement Agency in response to the most frequently asked questions from the military.

Delivery times are not the only thing of interest in the operation of a marketplace. Another issue concerns the requirements for manufacturers and the products that appear on it.

"Currently, only codified products from verified manufacturers are available on the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace," the Defense Procurement Agency explained in response to this.

The agency also clarified the situation regarding the delivery of ordered drones to the front: drone manufacturers are responsible for logistics to military units.

In addition, the AOZ explained who exactly can place orders in the system. It is claimed that for this purpose the military unit appoints a responsible person. Moreover, the responsible person may not be the only one.

Among other things, the Defense Procurement Agency answered the question about who will handle the documents required for the order for DOT-Chain Defence.

"The Agency takes on most of the bureaucratic process. Only additional documents, such as orders, expense invoices, and acts, will be signed by the military themselves through the system," the Defense Procurement Agency said.

At the same time, it was noted that over time, the range of products on the marketplace will expand. The agency recalled that during the development of the pilot version, bomber jackets were added to DOT-Chain Defence at the request of the military.

Let us remind you that during the first two weeks of DOT-Chain Defence's test operation, military units in the Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, and Kherson directions received the first thousand FPV drones.

The Marketplace was developed by the State Operator of Logistics and is used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for operational and targeted provision of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
