In June 2025, every third enemy target hit by the Defense Forces will be on the account of the Unmanned Systems Forces. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, following the results of the next meeting on the development of unmanned systems.
"In total, over the previous month, the Air Defense Forces group hit more than 19,600 targets, destroying 5,024. In particular, 88 Russian tanks, 129 armored personnel carriers, 427 artillery systems, and 31 MLRS were neutralized," he noted.
As for the enemy's personnel, according to Oleksandr Syrskyi, our SBS group has a total of over 4,500 "disabled Russians." Of these, 2,548 people were eliminated.
According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, among the most effective units are "Birds of the Magyar", "Phoenix", "Achilles", "Nemesis", "Steppe Predators", "Rarog".
"I fully support the development of the use of interceptor drones. The more of them we have and the more trained crews we have, the deeper we echelon the main directions, the more peaceful Ukrainians in the rear cities will sleep," added Oleksandr Syrsky.
At the same time, he noted that the enemy is improving, improving the characteristics of its strike UAVs, changing tactics, increasingly using fiber optics, artificial intelligence, machine vision for FPV, and designing "geraniums" with a turbojet engine.
"We are preparing an effective countermeasure, we will use innovative projects of our BfS," added the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Let us recall that in May 2025, the Defense Forces of Ukraine, using drones of various types, struck and destroyed more than 89 thousand enemy targets.
